Phlebotomist


Duties and responsibilities: Phlebotomist draw blood from people for donations, transfusion, tests, Etc. They must know how all the equipment works since they are dealing with people's blood. They also have to be good with people because they have to work with them directly. They take blood samples and send them to the lab as well to check for further health issues.


Salary: They make around $30,000 a year.


Education: You can typical become a phlebotomist after four months to a year of education. Certain degrees and higher education can land you more advanced positions as a phlebotomist though. You need to go to trade school or a technical college training school.


Demand: Their is around 100,000 jobs taken as a  phlebotomist.



Reflection: Maybe, because it sounds like an interesting job and could be something i’d like doing.
